Went out from 7am - 1Pm. Spent some time right at the splits to Jetts island as the birds were crashing the water hard. Caught a couple 3 lb stripers throwing a sassy shad on 1/2 oz jig head. Water temp was 47 degrees. Got real windy around 11 - cruised up to Kelly's landing and caught a nice 2 lb bass slow rolling a white spinner bait. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas......

Gman, just wanted to take a minute and say thanks for all your fishing reports. Your reports help newbies to the lake (like myself) pattern the fish and pointed in the right direction. You and Billwts are always posting up info after every trip you take and you both should know that it is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Happy New Year.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments - made my day.
I'm going out tomorrow and hopefully will have some good stuff to share. Think I'm going to focus on the stripers and maybe catch a big bucket mouth by accident...we'll let you know. Hope you and yours have a healthy and happy new year...

thanks for the comments ... I wish I could help more. Gman, me and Amy are going over tomorrow (Sat) also. I'm going to check the splits for gulls but I will probably end up around dikes 2 and 3. Usually gulls around there also. I will be throwing a pop-r around the rip rap for LM and see what happens.
If I see you I will shout at ya !!! Good luck and tight lines ...
