I called Hunters Landing to try and get some different lake reports and make a decison on where to fish tomorrow. I asked how the lake conditions were after this front yesterday and the lady says I ahve no idea... I asked what the lake temperatures where - I have no idea... Have there been any reports from people stopping in - I have no idea...
What do they know and why are they in the business of selling tackle if they have no idea...
If anyone has heard the lake conditions could you please let me know. Until then I have a few more calls to make.

Steve, first off welcome to the site. As for Hunters Landing yeah they claim to be a tackle shop and store etc. but not too much in the way of knowing lake temps or fishing conditions etc. I was just making a few calls to post an update so check out the conditions under the Lake Anna Reports.
In a nutshell - lake is still good clarity but the temps have been pushed down as you can imagine.

thanks for the welcome and the offer on the tackle stuff. I am headed out tomorrow but I dont know what good I will do but it sure beats laying around. May look to find some crappie.

There was a really friendly group of people over at Hgh Point Marina seemed to try and keep up with the fishermen, that will keep me coming back.

I agree on high Point I went over there and chatted for a little while. I didnt undertand how High Point and Anna Point were side by side, unless I am missing something. Same owners? |
