Was out last weekend and noticed temps have came down a little they ranged from 82 - 80.5 - also noticed the creeks are a little cooler than the the main lake (YES). Got a friend in town this weekend and we're going to give it a shot. It's been a rough August - and I noticed the forecast calls for mid to upper eighties. Has anyone been on the water this week and noticed temps?

Gman; I was out from 7:30AM to 3:30PM. Water temp's ranged from 76 degrees up in the Pamunkey to 79 in front of plant. However, it was cloudy all day long and if the temps hit mid 80's in the next few days, I'm sure the water temps will rise quickly.

Temps are definately below 80 now (mid to high 70's).... we went out last night and caught some nice keepers.... white and gray spinnerbaits seemed to be the key. We have a journal on www.hookedonlakeanna.com if you are interested. I'll come back and update as much as I can, it just takes alot to update several sites.
