We have discussed trying to keep minnows alive on here before and I got a great solution. My wife and kids got me a Frabill Min-02-Life bait bucket. It is about the size of a plano tackle box. We thought it was going to be bigger. But we got 8 dz (4 lrg 4 Sml) minnows at High Pt Sat at 6:30am and we only lost 2 minnows all day. We left at 7:30pm and dump about 8 back in the lake. I couldn't believe how well it worked. We put the store water in it and only added 1 bottle of cold drinking water during the day. It runs on 2 d batteries - they lasted all day - probably get another day out of them. It keep the water cool and aerated. can't believe I never had one before. It was 40.00 but well worth the money. It will pay for itself in a few trips - we usually lose at least half of the minnows we buy. I would definitley recommend it - if you buy bait.
