Mike - Keep looking for your next post on your pattern......How'd you do in the tourney? - I noticed some very heavy weigh in's (including a sturgeon creek record for 5 fish). I'm getting out on Sat. after skipping a week and hope this cold front moving in Thurs doesn't shut them down. I'm assuming a few might be looking for beds - but most are still staging until we get some stable mid sixty water temps for a few days in a row....

update. saturdays cold morning pushed them back a bit, but later in the day they were right back in the old willow grass(there must be deep water real close by). i was fishing a white spinnerbait dbl willow 3/8 oz. throw to shore and slowly bring back through the dead stuff and let it stay as close to bottom as possible they seem to be sitting at the very bottom or following the grass heading back. strikes can be vicious or very very subtle. almost all fish will eat the bait so a trailer is not necessary but recommended. Also the docks are loaded with small buck bass to 2 lbs, throw the spinnerbait between the dock and shore and bring back at medium retrive, most hits are near the posts but not all, these strike will be hard. as usual you can catch some females hanging on the outer posts waiting to move up try throwing jigs and carolina rigs or even shaky's good luck hope the pattern hold for a week or more. If they arent in the grass they have pulled back to the first drop in deep water *ft or so mike c

Thanks Mike - I'll post my stuff this weekend as well. Are you fishing above or below the 208 bridge?
