Took off for a little fishing early Sunday morning. Caught a few small fish on the western main lake points just south of the power plant. Moved over to the islands across from the plant on the western side of the lake. Specifically, the island closest to the main lake with the shallow water buoy. I banged them up pretty good there, landing three fish and missing one other. All three were in the 3lb. range. Caught all of them on a Z-Pop. As the sun came up, the fish disappeared.
On another note, Got the Humminbird 997c installed. It is phenomenal what you can see......roadways, brush piles, individual rocks, clouds of bait fish, etc. Only had a chance to play with it a little bit but I was extremely impressed with what I saw.

Glad to hear you had a good day - I took the week off from going down and fished a little locally. Keep us updated with the new hummingbird. Sounds like a "must have" on the boat..
