Went out of deep bottom since the weather had been looking a little nicer. Water temps had climbed up and I was marking from 48-50 degrees. Set my gill nets and pulled a nice load of shad after about 50 minutes.
Went and hit some holes but didnt have the kind of day I was really hoping for. None the less I ended up with 2 fish over 20 pounds and lost one at the boat that was a bit bigger.
Thanks to some on here that have given me loads of info - I really feel like I can fish the James with a little more confidence.

Nice work - I had one go 46 pounds down at Jordans Point last night - wish I was out when it was in the 70's
